This week of fun theater games and improv comedy training is designed for youth ages 13-17! This program is created and taught by the world-class faculty at Buffalo Improv House, with over one hundred years combined experience teaching improv comedy to all ages. If you've been looking for a summer improv class for teens in Buffalo, New York, look no further!
This program runs from 1pm to 4pm Monday through Friday, July 7-11. The week concludes with an optional but highly encouraged student showcase performance Friday July 11 at 6pm!

Dan Reitz, Ed.M.: Dan is the founder and creative director of Buffalo Improv House, a lifelong educator, and a certified New York State teacher with over a decade of experience teaching music and performing arts to students in grades K-12. He taught music and drama classes at the Bank Street School for Children and the Collegiate School in New York City, and has taught improv comedy to dozens of school groups via the American High School Theater Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. He travels the country as a guest improv comedy teacher at high schools and colleges, and is a father to two silly girls. He has a masters degree in education from the University at Buffalo, where he specialized in performing arts pedagogy and curricular design.
Annie Moor: Annie is an improviser, visual artist and early childhood educator. She taught art and music classes at the Childrens Museum of the Arts in Manhattan. Originally from Southeast Texas, Annie attended Walnut Hill School of the Arts for high school in Natick, MA, and later received her BFA from NYU Tisch Film & TV, focusing on animation and creative writing. Annie is co-owner of Buffalo Improv House with her husband Dan, and is so excited for the vibrant improv community that is growing here in Buffalo! You can see her improvising with the Faculty, Various Factors Musical Improv, and the HaHa Show at BIH, and Unscripted (the 2-act improvised play) at Road Less Travelled Productions.
