In this 90-minute beginners class you'll learn some improv basics, play improv games, and get to see what it's like to make up fun characters and situations with a group of like-minded people.

If you enjoy the class and want more, you can put the $10 cost of this class towards the cost of our 8-week Level One class! But this class stands alone as a beginner improv workshop, and you won't be pressured to sign up for a full course.

Instructor Bio

MARY EVERHART Mary Everhart has been studying and performing improv since 2019. She currently performs with several teams, including BIH house team Bedelia and musical improv team Glitter Glamour. She also performs with a few indie teams and is the co-founder of Comedy Incubator Buffalo, where she helps improvisers turn show ideas into reality.

Mary believes that improv should be fun above all else. She loves scenes built through strong connection, shared discovery, and supporting your scene partners rather than trying to “get it right.”

Outside of improv, Mary is a wife and mom to two amazing teenagers. She’s also a bit of a board game nerd with what she firmly insists is a “healthy” collection.
